Help us restore the lost Woodlands of the Boyne!
Floodplain woodlands have almost completely disappeared from Ireland. Trees play an important role in river ecosystems, regulating water temperatures, filtering out pollutants and providing food and shelter to wildlife. Restoring good tree cover can help support other beloved species, including Salmon and the Kingfisher.
Your contribution will support our efforts to restore the lost woodlands of the Boyne River Catchment, including funding materials for collecting and propagating local, native seed, maintaining our dedicated Tree Nurseries, training for our staff and volunteers, running costs of the project, and more.
